....How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring good tidings! . . . . .. Romans 10:15
And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send and who will go for us? Then said I, Here I am; send me. . . . . . Isaiah 6:8-9
This ministry is currently focused on assisting the forgotten elderly of Kisumu County, Kenya. We hope to expand the ministry to include all of Kenya one day and pray the idea will catch on and spread across the African Continent.. We are introduced to the elderly within a community by the local church leaders who are seeking a way to help them. A team from the ministry goes to their homes and evaluates their living conditions, their state of health, and inquires about any living relatives, and whether they are raising any of their orphaned grandchildren.
The orphans we offer assistance to are living with their aged grandparents and have no hope of a future without our help. We occassionally make an exception to this rule for the orphans if their one surviviing parent is handicapped.

This reed mat is the bed of one of our elderly women. You can see it is spread on the lumpy dirt floor and her only covering is a small piece of cloth.

How we Started
While on an evangelistic mission trip with International Commission to Kisumu, Kenya in 2006, Alice Querequincia was approached by Pastor Joseph Odhiambo and asked what she did for a living in the USA. When it was discovered that she was a caregiver for the sick and dying, she was told that a program was needed in Kenya to help their elderly as well.
Only being in Kenya for one short week, Alice laughed it off as impossible. However, the next year (2007) she went back on her own for three months and was again approached about the need for elder care in Kenya. This time she took them seriously and the ministry was born.
We believe there is one and only one liviing and true God. He reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
We believe the Holy Bible was written by men who were divinely inspired, and it is God's revelation of Himself to man; therefore, all scripture today is true and trustworthy.
We believe that Jesus is the Christ; the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that he ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. . . . .. Acts 4:12
We are a 501(c)3 organization in good standing with the government of the USA. We are also a registered charity in good standing with the country of Kenya
100% of the funds collected go to help the people we have targeted for being in the most need.of our services.
ALL of our Board members both in USA and in Kenya and our caregivers are volunteers. No one is paid for the service they do in the ministry. In fact most of our members put their own money into the care and distribution of food items and medicine for the elderly and their orphaned grandchildren. Even our missionary pays her own RT airfare and her living expenses when in Kenya.
